Sketch assignments are to be completed in pencil and/or color pencil - No pen, marker, crayon, etc. Sketches are to fill up the ENTIRE paper with images. Need to push drawing detail as much as possible - No stick figures or scribbling. Sketches need to be completed to the best of your ability; under no circumstances is someone else allowed to complete or alter your sketch. NO TRACING! Need to spend at least 30 minutes on each sketch assignment.
Sketch #3
If a student did not finish sketch #3 in class, please complete for homework. The assignment for sketch #3: Draw something IN water. The sketch needs to be something that is under or in water; not what's above water. For example: fish, a sunken pirate ship, a mermaid, dirty dishes in a soapy sink, etc. Push detail as much as possible! For example: scales on a fish, wood grain on a pirate ship, etc. Need to fill up the ENTIRE paper with images - Need images of objects drawn in the background. NO TRACING! This assignment is worth 10 points.

If a student did not finish sketch #2 in class, please complete for homework. The assignment for sketch #2: Design your own superhero. The sketch needs to be a NEW superhero; it cannot be a superhero that already exists. Need to include in your sketch: 1. What the superhero looks like, 2. The superhero's superpowers, and 3. Where the superhero fights crime (background scene with images). Need to draw images only; no words! NO TRACING! This assignment is worth 10 points.

Please complete this sketch on the back side of the handout given in class. If you misplaced the handout, please complete the sketch on a separate piece of paper - notebook paper is fine. Need to draw images only, no words! Need to fill up the entire paper with images. Draw big! Need to draw detail in each image - NO scribbling or stick figures! NO TRACING! This assignment is worth 10 points.
